At Tumaini La Maisha, we believe that empowering communities also means caring for the environment we all call home. A healthy environment is essential for healthy, safe, and thriving communities.

On a past World Environment Day, we joined young people and community members in raising awareness about the importance of protecting our environment. The day provided an opportunity to reflect on how everyday actions such as keeping our surroundings clean, reducing waste, protecting nature, and caring for trees can contribute to a healthier planet.

As part of our activities, we also planted trees, taking a simple but meaningful step towards creating a greener and more sustainable future. Tree planting not only helps restore our environment but also reminds us of the responsibility we have to protect natural resources for future generations.
